How to play

Your child sees a picture and hears its word said in parts, like "ba, na, na", then taps the snake's drum once for each part and checks. After every answer the word is shown split into its parts with dots, and a gentle miss shows the split word as a hint, so it works with the sound off too. Levels grow from one- and two-part words to three and four parts, then sorting pictures into 1, 2 and 3 beat baskets, and finally a mix, building the listening skills children need before reading. There are no timers and no losing: every right word adds a colourful segment to the snake, and each finished level earns a star and a new hat, glasses, spots or bow tie.
