How to play
Your child sits in a little boat with a fishing cat, hears a first sound such as "buh" or "muh", and fishes out the picture that starts with that sound: a bear, a bus or a ball. No reading is needed, and after every catch the letter appears next to the word, so children start linking sounds to letters. Levels grow from two pictures to three and four, then finding the one picture that does not start with the sound, and matching two pictures that start the same. There are no timers and no losing: a wrong pick gently wiggles off the hook with its own sound, and every catch adds a fish to the aquarium on the pier.
