Opposite Owls

How to play

One owl on a branch holds a picture card and says its word, like hot, and your child taps the owl on the other branch holding the opposite picture, cold, so the two owls fly together and snuggle. Levels grow from two clear choices to three, then action and state words such as open and closed, full and empty, on and off, then a whole tree of owls to pair up with every card in view, and finally a mixed level. Every word is spoken aloud and labelled under its picture, so children link picture, sound and written word. There are no timers and no losing: a wrong tap gets a gentle spoken hint, and every finished level fills the big owl tree and earns up to three stars.
