How to play
Your child compares two dot groups or two numbers on lily pads and picks the gator that fits: its hungry mouth always opens toward the bigger one, which is exactly the shape of the > and < signs, and the calm closed-mouth gator stands for =. Levels grow from dot groups up to 10, to numbers up to 20, to finding the number that makes a sentence like 9 > ? true, to two-digit numbers up to 100 with tens rods and ones cubes that teach "look at the tens first", and finally a mixed level. Every answer is read aloud as a full sentence such as "15 is less than 19". There are no timers and no losing: mistakes get a gentle spoken hint, and each finished level fills the gator's tummy, earns a star and brings a new friend to the swamp.
